Norma Jean's Story
Life
My name is Norma Jean Houston. I graduated from Bethlehem High School in 1961. My maiden name was Locke and I was called Jean by my friends.
I worked for a few years and then went to Chipola Jr. College where I studied business/secretarial courses.
I moved to Tallahassee in 1970 and worked in the Dept. of State for two years and then decided that I wanted to return to Holmes County. I transferred to...Expand for more
the Dept. of Children and Families and worked with them until 2005 when I retired with 34 1/2 years of service. I am enjoying my retirement very much.
My husband is Winston "Ike" Houston and he grew up in Enterprise, Ala. We do not have any children, however, we do have five cats and two dogs.
My favorite hobby now is the computer. I like to travel and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends.
